It supplied the Italian navy with Salvas equipments during WWII, and it has focused on producing professional and leisure underwater equipments under own branded products and providing services for several diving companies under private brands. The strategic attention of Salvas is concentrated on technical aspects of the production and to the marketing, so the company keeps researching improvement in production technology and quality, and now Salvas certified by the "DNV" board following the ISO9002 standards.
